Bronxville is this great town in New York where I grew up, and is probably one of the few places left that is almost exactly like how it was when I was a kid. Shops have come and gone, including “Village Pastry” and Steinmann’s Apothecary, where my sisters and I worked through high school. The town has great architectural details, and my paintings are meant to capture the town’s nostalgia and charm without taking it too seriously.
